From P4A - PHP For Applications - PHP Framework
P4A has a sample application (products_catalogue) bundled with the download package, the whole code we wrote to build this application is less than 600 lines, managing 3 database tables, joined data between tables, multiple languages with a custom language switch mask and much more.
You can now try that application live here without having to download and install P4A. For obvious motivations, creating/saving and deleting records (or uploading files) have been disabled.
